2018 marks the 80th anniversary of Orson Welles and The Mercury Theater on the Air’s broadcast of H.G. Wells “The War of the Worlds”. There’s a few events marking the occasion, including a small podcast network’s annual week long celebration, but in 1988 the Golden Anniversary for a much different experience.
