Welcome to the Negative One Podcast!
In this episode, Matt and Thomas are visited (unexpectedly) by Patrick Edwards (again) while discussing the British spiritual to The Twilight Zone, Black Mirror. An anthology program where the episodes are fairly standalone, it’s almost like watching a separate assignment for each hour’s worth of content. Technology based semi-horror with poignant moments interspersed, Black Mirror is lauded for its creativity and near-future speculation. But does Matt actually like the first two seasons?
Does Matt think he’s old? Does Thomas find out that his Facebook app is listening to him? Does Patrick regret doing the Dune episode, and possibly befriending Matt and Thomas?

This episode has been brought to you by the Prime Minister of Neozaz.com, who may or may not have carnal relations with a pig regardless of whether or not a princess’ life is at stake.
Welcome to the Negative One Podcast!
This week we have a special guest! Author Patrick Edwards joins us in the studio to talk briefly about his new book, Space Tripping, and to help us review the 1984 “classic” sci-fi movie, Dune! Our advice for watching this movie: take a random mind altering substance before watching. It will help. Also, take a random mind altering substance before reading Patrick’s book. Not because it will help, but because it’s fun.
Does Thomas have problems with the visual representation of the Guild Navigator? Does Matt have a favorite U2 song? Does Patrick do a dream casting of his book?

Coming almost a full week after the most appropriate date for this movie, Thomas and Matt take a fan submission for the first time (thanks Bari!). Except, they do it wrong, in true NegOneCast fashion. So, instead of watching Reefer Madness the Movie Musical from 2005, they watch the original 1936 black and white propaganda film, Tell Your Children (also known as Reefer Madness). Somehow, the boys talk longer than the actual source material, by far. Hilarity ensues, as per the usual!
Does Thomas have an announcement at the end of this episode? Does Matt have a really bummerful story to tell? Does Thomas read directly from Wikipedia?

Do you like some non-sequitur in your sitcoms? Well that’s what Thomas gets when he reviews Maria Bamford’s Netflix-exclusive show, Lady Dynamite. Part meta-humor, part sitcom, part dramedy, and all absurd, Lady Dynamite chronicles Mz. Bamford’s career and tribulations with mental illness. It’s alt-comedy at (according to Matt) its finest.
Does Thomas remember those “Crazy Lady” ads from a major retail outlet? Does Matt recommend not getting glass top coffee tables? Does Thomas become a Hamilfan…Familton…Something that has to do with Lin-Manuel Miranda’s famously popular musical?

You didn’t really think we weren’t doing our own take on John Wick, did you? For shame. After our April Fool’s episode, we decided we’d better review this action opus for ourselves!
No questions this time, let’s get right down to it!
