It’s one of the most frightening pieces of audio drama made in the late 20th century, but we nearly nothing about how made it, how, or why. It’s a look at how a nuclear holocaust would unfold over the radio waves, and the influence of the 1938 broadcast of “The War of the Worlds” in undeniable. This is, “The Last Broadcast”.
In the late 80s first run TV Syndication was in it’s prime! While there were a lot of notable series to start in that era, one series if often forgotten about - “The War of the Worlds”. In many respects, it may be best forgotten. But that was one episode in the entire series’ run that all War of the World legacy fans should check out.
