In this episode I try to re-create my most successful beer ever! It’s an American Pale Ale and it was first brewed for a festival with no intention of competing. Some time down the line when I needed an additional entry for a competition, it suddenly became a competition beer and everything changed. What was once a beer just brewed for fun now has an amazing amount of pressure on it each time it’s brewed. Will this batch continue this beers unexpected legacy? That’s what I’m hoping to find out in this episode.

This time, I'm brewing a tried and true style that is not only a crowd-pleaser but is one of my favorite styles to brew and drink.
American Amber Ale is the style for this brew, and it's a malt-forward beer with enough hop character to give this style a broad interpretation and look of fun to experiment with.
There's one more competition this season, and I want to help my club capture the state championship. I tinker with my Amber Ale recipe yet again to help accomplish this. Did it work? We'll find out soon!

For the first time since 2017, I’m brewing a beer inspired by the current year’s Halloween Horror Nights event. “Dr Oddfellow’s Odd IPA” is designed around the theme of Halloween Horror Nights 32 and setting this beer would be enjoyed in if it were part of the event. The unique nature of the inspiration subject and the weather challenges of Central Florida made this beer an incredibly fun beer to design and brew. Does it live up to the event? Listen and find out!
